Studley Wood is situated in a magnificent parkland setting with 44 acres of ancient woodland at its heart.

Designed by Simon Gidman in 1995 our Par 73 course provides a challenge for all standards of golfer and is well known for the exceptional quality of its greens.

Two loops of nine holes play in opposite directions around the woodland which lies at the centre of the course. Great care has been taken to set out the 18 holes in such a way that each fairway and green has its own distinctive character and offers its own particular challenge.

The result is a course which combines a feeling of maturity alongside the prospect of a rewarding round of golf!!

Visitors & Societies

All visitors are always assured a professional welcome at Studley Wood. Our clubhouse may have a relaxed atmosphere but we take our golf very seriously which is why our greens and fairways are rated so highly. Whether you want to book a tee time or are looking to arrange a society or charity event we will endeavour to help you in whatever way we can.

Green Fees

We offer visitor tee time reservations up to four days in advance. Please contact the pro-shop on 01865 351122 to make a reservation or discuss our latest offers.

Open Competitions

We are not planning on holding any further Open competitions this year. Please check back regularly as we will be offering a range of open competitions for 2025!

Societies & Golf Days

We pride ourselves on designing packages which are tailored to each group’s requirements and budget. We can cater for small groups or full corporate golf days of up to 120 people. We offer a number of services which you can discuss with our experienced team. These include:

Providing Prizes
Video and photography
Working out results and hosting prize giving ceremonies if required
Refreshment trolleys for the course and half way house

We offer a full selection of food and drink options from breakfast to full sit down dinners. We are also happy for you to put something together specifically with our chef.

We can accommodate up to 60 to sit down in our private dining room or 120 in the main clubhouse. We organise society packages throughout the year but recommend early booking for dates in high season as the course becomes very busy.

Please note that we are a member’s club and bookings are not usually available for Fridays.
