There is a range of Membership options to suit regular and occasional golfers. Visitors are greeted warmly and made to feel at home.
Set in the glorious Wiltshire countryside close to the medieval Cathedral City of Salisbury, both of the downland courses offer magnificent views for miles around. The testing Cathedral 18 hole layout has been in play since 1991 carefully combining holes from the Old course and new ones built in 1989, and the easier going Bibury 9 hole from an 1894 design by J H Taylor.
Golf Societies and Group Bookings
Societies are very welcome at Salisbury and South Wilts Golf Club, and we are fortunate to offer 27 holes of free draining top quality downland golf.
Many of our societies return year after year. The courses are playable all year round and only in extreme weather conditions is there likely to be a playing restriction.
Societies are welcome Monday – Thursday and may play the Cathedral Course as well as the 9 hole Bibury Course. Please note that the Bibury 9 is located a 4 or 5 minute drive away from the main Club, near Salisbury Racecourse – if travelling from the main Club turn left out of the Club drive on the A3094, after 3/4 mile turn left towards Salisbury Racecourse, and after 1 mile turn left up the lane where the Bibury Course signs are located.
