Crieff Golf Club

Welcome to Crieff, at the heart of golfing Perthshire

Rated one of Scotland’s top inland courses by Golf World magazine. Crieff Golf Club is surrounded by beautiful countryside in the heart of golfing Perthshire.

Built on gently sloping parkland with spectacular views, our two courses provide a fair but challenging experience for golfers of all levels of ability. Excellent all-year round playing conditions in stunning surroundings and a friendly welcome are guaranteed.

The Ferntower Course

6,493 yards, Par 71

The present Ferntower course was opened for play in 1980. It is long and testing with magnificent views over the Strathearn valley which improve as the round progresses. The fairways are mostly wide and the rough is cut short enough to avoid prolonged searching for balls. A round can be enjoyed by high and low handicappers alike. The course has an established pedigree. It has hosted the Scottish Golf Union’s Clubs’ Championship, the Scottish Boys’ Stroke Play Championship and the Perthshire County Championship.

The Dornock Course

2,270 yards, Par 32

The nine-hole Dornock course comprises five of Simpson and Braid’s original holes and four that were constructed in 1982. Some of the best holes are the short 2nd and the 9th, which is a medium length two-shotter! It provides good golf on a more modest scale than the Ferntower Course and is well used by the juniors, beginners, and some of the more senior players. In winter it can also form part of a composite 18-hole course.

A warm welcome to everyone

We guarantee a warm and friendly welcome to golfers of all levels and ages. Arrive in plenty of time to enjoy our hospitality, have a pre-round coffee, and get settled in. You may use our visitor facilities to change in the clubhouse, and perhaps spend some time on the short game practice area and putting green before making your way to the first tee. Check in for your tee time at our Pro Shop on the first tee, and our helpful Pro staff will give you some encouragement, and maybe even a few tips. We will see you back in the clubhouse afterwards for a drink and a bite to eat.
